Welcome to the M.Tech programmes in Structural Engineering at the Central University of Kashmir. We offer two routes to the same degree: a full-time regular programme for fresh graduates, and an AICTE-approved programme for working professionals with classes in the evenings, on weekends and on holidays, so that serving engineers can upgrade their qualifications without leaving employment.

Both programmes share one curriculum and one faculty, with a strong emphasis on earthquake-resistant design, advanced concrete, structural dynamics and practical design to Indian codes — skills that matter in a Seismic Zone V region like Kashmir. Every student works with a faculty supervisor on a two-semester dissertation, often drawn from real problems in the field.
