Dr. Bendukurthi teaches Communication Theories and
Models, Media Research and other subjects related to Sociology of Communication
and Media Culture. He did his masters and PhD from the Central University of
Hyderabad. His media and disability research has been published in The
Routledge Companion to Disability and Media (2020), Sage’s Journal of Creative
Communication (2016).

teaching - Sociology of Communication, Political Communication, Disability
& Mass Media, Media and Gender, Political economy of Media, Media Framing,
apart from the conventional media courses: Development Communication, Media

Media and Ethics and History of Media, Community Media, Visual Culture, Visual
Discourse, Media and Culture.
