Dr. Akhter Bhat is currently working as an
Assistant Professor in Department of Convergent Journalism, Central University
of Kashmir.
Dr. Akhter Bhat received his PhD in communication
and journalism from the University of Mumbai in 2019. Dr. Akhter Bhat has
received a Gold Medal in journalism studies from Rizvi College Mumbai. He has
an overall experience of 7 years in media industry and has been teaching from
the last three teaching. Dr. Akhter has written three publications and has
presented his research in two international media conferences.
His research areas are situated in the field of
construction and reconstruction of communicative processes in and between
complex organizations in the context of the contemporary media landscape. Apart
from that, digital communications, government communications in today’s
digitized political economies mark a few other areas of his research interest.
