About the Programme
The Department of Politics and Governance at the Central University of Kashmir is a full time two year postgraduate programme in political science. The faculty at the Department of Politics and Governance specialise in multiple subfields of political science, which include, Political Theory, Comparative Politics, International Relations, Public Administration, Public Policy and Methodology. The MA programme in political science intends to introduce these specialisations to the students, in addition to, building a robust foundation in political science. Further, the MA programme includes Internship and Research components which allow students to get industry experience and develop their academic writing and research skills.
Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks or its equivalent on grading scale of respective universities having Political Science/Public Administration/ International Relations/Public Policy as one of the subjects during each year/semester.
