Profile
Dr. Dharmendra Singh holds a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, where he studied defense transcriptomics in wheat during leaf rust infection, and M.Sc. in Biotechnology from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee. His research specializes in Plant Molecular Biology and Functional Genomics, with a primary focus on dissecting genetic and molecular mechanisms underlying abiotic and biotic stress tolerance inplants. By leveraging advanced genomic tools, gene editing technologies, and transcriptomic analyses, he aims to enhance crop resilience, contributing to sustainable agriculture and global food security. Dr. Singh has published 23 articles (17 research articles and 8 book chapters) having H-index of 11 and successfully completed DBT and other research projects.
