Dr. Moyeed-ul-Zafar is an Assistant Professor of the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at the Central University of Kashmir, India. He holds a Ph.D. in Islamic Studies from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), where his doctoral research examined modern trends in Hadith criticism under the supervision of Prof. Yasin Mazhar Siddiqi. 

Dr. Zafar has over a decade of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration. Before joining the Central University of Kashmir, he taught at the S.H. Institute of Islamic Studies, the Iqbal Institute of Culture and Philosophy, University of Kashmir, and Government Degree College, Sopore. He also served as the Private Secretary to the Vice-Chancellor of the Central University of Kashmir for six years, contributing significantly to the University's academic administration.

His research interests include Islamic Studies, Hadith Studies, comparative religion, interfaith dialogue, and contemporary religious thought. He has authored several books, published research papers in reputed journals, and presented papers at numerous national and international conferences, seminars, and workshops. Through his teaching, research, and scholarly engagement, Dr. Zafar continues to contribute to the advancement of Religious Studies and the promotion of dialogue across diverse religious and intellectual traditions.
