It gives me immense pleasure and sense of commitment and responsibility to welcome you to the Department of Law, School of Legal Studies, Central University of Kashmir. The Department of Law imparts comprehensive legal education at all level (UG, PG and PhD) through advanced studies, mentoring, training and research. The Department of Law envisages attaining excellence in legal education of global standard through excellence in teaching-learning process, research, capacity building, collaboration, community service, along with nurturing future legal professionals for ensuring a just society so as to shape a better future for humanity. We look forward to welcoming law students and scholars to join an intellectually-engaging, professionally enriching and morally supportive vibrant environment where future legal professionals are nurtured and shaped to serve the society, the nation and beyond.
