Dr. Imtiyaz Ahmad Dar, also known as Imtiyaz Mustafa, is an academician, researcher, and literary scholar specializing in Kashmiri language and literature. He currently serves as the Coordinator and Assistant Professor at the Department of Kashmiri, Central University of Kashmir, which he joined on 5th January 2024.
With over 15 years of teaching experience, he has contributed significantly to translation, folklore studies, and critical literary analysis. Dr.Imtiyaz Ahmad Dar holds a Ph.D. in Kashmiri from the University of Kashmir and has published numerous research papers and books, including “Gh Nabi Firaq: Shakhsiyat te Fun” and translations like “Keemyagar”.
He has held key administrative roles, including Head-in-Charge at the University of Jammu (Kishtwar Campus) and Academic Coordinator at Central University of Kashmir. As an editor of literary and science journals and a Board of Studies member, he plays a crucial role in academic development.
Dr.Imtiyaz Ahmad Dar is a NET-qualified scholar and an active participant in national and international conferences, contributing extensively to Kashmiri literature and pedagogy.
