Mr. Dinesh Kumar K

Mr. Dinesh Kumar K serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Education at the Central University of Kashmir, Tulmulla, Ganderbal, where he has been a faculty member since 2012. Driven by a commitment to 21st-century education defined by high productivity, quality, and professionalism, his core academic specialisations include the Philosophy of Education, Teaching of Social Science, and Inclusive Education. He holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Calicut, a B.Ed. in Social Science, and has qualified the UGC NET in Education (including JRF) as well as Adult Education. 

Throughout his career, Mr. Kumar has held various key administrative and institutional roles, including Department Coordinator (2021–2023), Programme Officer for the National Service Scheme (NSS, 2021–2024), and Web Admin for the Department of Education. He active contributes to governance as a member of the Board of Studies, School Board, and the university's SC/ST Cell, alongside playing an integral role in examination processes as a Code Officer, evaluator, and paper setter. Beyond institutional management, he has actively mentored postgraduate and M.Ed. students, guiding numerous postgraduate dissertations on educational philosophy, inclusive education, and student mental health. 

As an active scholar, Mr. Kumar has co-authored several books—including Contemporary Issues in Indian Education and Guidance and Counselling—and published research chapters addressing key themes in higher education and constitutional rights. He maintains professional engagements as a life member of various recognised bodies.
