Dr. Arun Christopher T

T. Arun Christopher is an Assistant Professor in the School of Education, Central University of Kashmir, Ganderbal, Jammu and Kashmir, where he has been serving since May 2017. Prior to joining the University, he served as an Assistant Professor at SCSVMV University, Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, from 2008 to 2017. He has extensive experience in higher education, teacher education, academic mentoring, and student supervision.

He holds M.Sc., M.Ed., M.Phil., and Ph.D. in Education, along with postgraduate diplomas and professional qualifications in related areas. His academic engagement encompasses educational research, psychology, teacher education, innovative teaching-learning practices, educational technology, assessment, and contemporary issues in education.

He has published research papers in national and international journals, including UGC-CARE-listed journals, contributed chapters to scholarly books, and authored a book. He has also presented research papers at national and international conferences and actively participated in seminars, workshops, faculty development programmes, and other professional activities.

He has served as a resource person and delivered invited lectures on contemporary issues in education, assessment, mental health and wellbeing, educational technology, and the National Education Policy.   

At the School of Education, he also serves as In-charge of the Psychology Laboratory, where he coordinates and conducts laboratory activities for the IBM programme, providing students with practical exposure to psychological concepts, tools, and educational applications. His academic responsibilities further include postgraduate teaching, development of e-content and online learning resources, research supervision, and student mentoring. He has guided numerous postgraduate dissertations and is currently supervising four Ph.D. scholars.
