Dr. Jainendra Kumar Verma

Dr. Jainendra Kumar Verma has been working as Associate Professor in Department of Economics at Central University of Kashmir since December, 2023. Earlier he has served as Associate Professor for 5 months in Sharda University and as Assistant Professor for 8 years in the Central University of Punjab. Before that he worked as Post-Doctoral Fellow for 1 and half year in Mizoram University. He has served as Auditor for 9 months in Indian Audit & Accounts Dept., Govt. of India. He has published 3 patents, 43 research papers (including 10 Scopus Indexed and 3 ABDC listed) & 14 edited books, guided 2 Ph.D., 2 M.Phil. and 32 Masters Thesis/Dissertation/Project. He has total Rs. 52.3 lakhs grants to his credit including Project Director in Research Projects (One funded by ICSSR of Rs. 15 lacs and another by CUPB of Rs. 1.5 lacs), Course Director in 4 Capacity Building Programmes funded by ICSSR of Rs. 27.9 lacs, Co-Convener in 1 National Conference funded by Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India of Rs. 3.4 lacs, Co-Convener in 1 National Conference funded by ICSSR of Rs. 1.5 lacs and Convener in 1 International Conference funded by ICSSR of Rs. 3 lacs. He has done his PhD in Entrepreneurship at University of Lucknow in 2014, M.A. in Economics from U.P.R.T. Open University, M.B.A. in Finance & Human Resource from Mizoram University,and B.M.S. in Management Science from University of Lucknow. He has qualified UGC-NET/JRF in 10 subjects.
